Franciscan monastery (Opole)

Monastery was founded in 1238, destroyed by Tatars, rebuilt in 1248. In 1811 franciscans were expelled by Prussian government and church belonged to evangelicalists. Two years later monastery it was converted to military storage, church to a hospital. In 1820 everything went back to evangelicalists, after WWII it was returned, heavily damaged, again to franciscans.
