Holy Trinity church (Opole)

Holy Trinity church was first built in XIII, burned down in 1307, rebuilt, it survived many other fires, war damages, modernizations. After expelling franciscans by Prussian governement in 1811 church belonged to evangelicalians, who constructed characteristical 43-meter tower in 1899-1902. After WWII it was given back to franciscans.

The oldest surviving parts are from XIII century. Mix of many other styles reflects rich history of the city.

Polish Piast dynasty princes are buried in crypts under the church.
