Collegium Maius, part of Opole University. Since XIII this was a site of a dominican monastery, initially wooden and from XIV stone. In early XIX building was taken over by city administration. From 1851 to 1990 it served as a hospital of St Wojciech, until it moved to a new location (see WCM at Witosa street).
In 1998 building was modernised and rebuilt by University of Opole, leaving only historical walls with modern, functional interiors.
Adjacent to the main building you will find St Wojciech chapel, inside a tower from medieval city walls. Preserved piece of walls can be still seen there.
