Completed in 1981 and originally called the Daon Building, this 19-storey tower (88 m) ,203,219 sq. ft., office building marked a milestone in the evolution of Vancouver's architectural approval process. It stands as an example of how the new can coexist and compliment the old. To the east, the building's proportions ease into those of the Vancouver Club instead of dominating it. But the key feature of this building is how it perfectly reflects the Marine Building, across the street to the West.
