Its a cemetery for Hindus on the shores to the Bay of bengal, once it was a uninhabitaed area of the little town, population outburst has encrouched the final abode of the dead and now Pappamal koil finds its self in middle of the household. The famous poet BHARATHI DASAN's Final resting place, this place isnamed after a local legend of a small girl who has a tiny shrine here
