The 1859 house was once part of one of the largest dairy farms in central Indiana. Sign out front states:

Built in 1859 this structure was home to Horace Reeve, descendant of some of the earliest settlers of Hendricks County. His father, Charles Reeve, first settled on land approximately 2 miles south of here in November 1839 and moved to his farm in 1858.
Horace Reeve developed the farm into one of the most successful dairy operations in central Indiana.
The house is owned by the Indianapolis Airport Authority under the Federal Aviation Regulations Part 150 Noise Acquisition Program. It is currently awaiting appropriate adaptive reuse.
The property is regularly patrolled by Airport Authority Police, and trespassers will be prosecuted.
