  • run by the 7th Day Adventists and well run at that. A nice place to work too, one of the best hospitals in the KC metro! While there isnt any town called "shawnee mission" it gets its name from the Shawnee Indian Mission that Rev Johnson set up back in the 1800s. PS there are nearby towns named "shawnee" and "mission" hope that confuses you!
  • yeah and back in 81 they had a cute little unit clerk there named Jenny Retter, who I believe was from St Joseph MO. She had a loser for a boyfriend but oh well.
  • yes I worked there once with the swingin crowd in the pharmacy. Stayed up all hours hangin out with them. THis wasnt General Hospital but almost....
