  • The Lord Siva's Name is Mallika arjunan, Lord Parvathi's Name is PRAMMARAMBIKAI. Important festivals are (1) Maha Sivarathiri during Masi Tamil Month and (2) Chitra Pournami during Chitrai Tamil Month. During these festival days, Lakss of people gather and worship the god. Thousands of people go to uphill temple for worship. The uphill temple's way is very narrow and hard one. Devanga Kannada -- Sevvelar vamsam and Muthu Magarishi Kothiram people's origan god.
  • It is one of the large mountain in south tamilnadu...from this hill u can view "Kodaikonal","palani"(lord murugan's temple),and u can able to view around 100-150 kms from the top of the hill..steps are available but its like a one way path...u can feel the plessure by climbing.....
