Taebla railway station was a railway station in the Taebla hamlet of Lääne-Nigula rural municipality in Lääne County. The Keila–Haapsalu railway ran through Taebla until 2004. Taebla railway station was preceded by Nigula when coming from Keila and followed by Ridala railway station. The railway station had two low platforms, a station building and one side road. In addition, several branch roads led to the industrial territory (Taebla concentrate feed factory) located next to Taebla. Currently, the Läänemaa Tervisetee is located on the old railway embankment. In 1915, a stop of the same name was opened near the village of Taebla with a bypass road. Initially, a decommissioned 3rd class passenger carriage was used as the building for the stop. The railway station was built in the 1920s, when a wooden one-story station building was also built. An extension was made to the building in 1929. In the late 1980s, the Haapsalu–Taebla railway section underwent major repairs, which shortened travel times. The last regular passenger train on the Tallinn–Haapsalu route passed through Taebla station on September 22, 1995. On the north side of the former railway is a station complex built in the 1920s, which was later expanded.
The wooden station building was built in an early traditionalist style similar to the Ellamaa station building. The single-storey Taebla station building with a low hipped roof has survived in a rebuilt form. It is a so-called transitional type, where the volumetric approach of the building refers to the so-called new era, while the details (windows, planking, etc.) indicate the continuation of the traditions of tsarist railway architecture. The building is in satisfactory condition and is currently used as a residence.
