A relatively small city of 10,000 people. On October 31st, 2009 30 college and high school students came together between the hours of 4 and 7 PM dressed as zombies and walked all over town, dragging themselves toward cars and into various shopping and eating areas, much to the distaste and delight of many managers of the establishments.

Also located within the city is the Historic Port Washington harbor, the Neiderkorn Library, Port Washington High School, and restaurants such as New Port Shores, Tellos, and The Pasta Shoppe.
