A 500 hectare industrial estate developed PT. Mitra Karawangjaya who went onto business in 1989. The estate's development started in 1992 and still runs today, as of 2009.

The estate consists of 3 phases, phase 1 with land size of 130 hectares in 1993, phase 2 with further 170 hectares in 1996 and in 2008-2009, the third phase should have 200 hectares developed.

Not officially stated, but it is estimated that only 15-20 companies have facilities or factories at this estate.
