Jababeka is a multi-zoned development area in Cikarang. The estate, developed by PT Jababeka Tbk, started development since 1989. This estate contains a total of 2970 hectares, with 1840 hectares allotted to industries, 1130 hectares for residences and a dozens of commercial blocks. Also, Jababeka owns other 2630 hectare which still occupied by locals, awaiting contract expiration and demolition or still not developed.

As of 2011, at least 1500 companies (may inaccurate or includes small and medium companies) have facilities at this estate. Jababeka's residential estate, as of 2011, have at least 17,887 units. Assume every units is owned by 1 family with 2 parents and 3 children, the assumed 2011 population is 89,345.
