The Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases Vojvodina was founded on November 16th, 1977 and it was based upon the concept of the World Health Organization strategy. It arose out of need to effectively deal with the cardiovascular diseases as one of the biggest health problems in the region of Vojvodina.
