Water Bridge (Bay Lake, Florida)

This Canal is actually held within a bridge that goes over the roadway. This "Water Bridge" is over World Drive where it enters the Contemporary Resort on its way to the Magic Kingdom bus terminal. The water bridge links Seven Seas Lagoon, to the west, with Bay Lake, to the east. The bridge is built similarly to a bridge for cars but used for water. This type of bridge is favored by Disney so that the views of the waterways are not broken up by bridges rising over them with cars racing by. Another of these bridges was built behind Epcot connecting it to Hollywood Studios with Epcot Resort Boulevard running beneath it.
