1919: Original bridge constructed
1968-1969: Original structure demolished, replaced with a new structure as part of roadway realignment and improvement project
1981: Bridge replaced with I-15 superseded U.S. Route 395
2004-2009: Bridge widened and replaced as part of managed lanes project
2013: The bridge was renamed in honor of local teen Chelsea King, who was murdered near the bridge in 2010.
