Large-scale mixed use center that includes office buildings, retail stores at street level, a Hyatt Hotel, a multiplex cinema, and a variety of low-, mid- and high-rise apartment buildings. Other features include an ornamental fountain and an ice-skating rink which is open during the winter. The residential dwellings of the Reston Town Center are some of the highest-end homes available in Reston, with penthouse units in some of the apartment buildings commanding 7-figure sales prices.

Construction of the Town Center, which was planned by Mobil Land Development, commenced in 1988 and is still (as of late 2013) being developed and expanded. The Town Center hosts a free summer concert series, the annual Reston Festival, and other events.
