Historical Museum operated by the City of Washington, in Wilkes County, Georgia. Housed in an 1835 former home, the museum features exhibits on the Washington-Wilkes area's involvement in the US Revolutionary War, the Civil War and the Confederacy, among other events and historical eras. Parking area for visitors can accommodate buses, and the shaded, landscaped grounds feature a picnic area.
