The Florida Evaluation Center was a private testing facility by Harley-Davidson before the motorcycles were put into production, owning the site from 2003 until 2009. The facility was put up for sale again in September of 2011. This was formerly Ford Motor Company's Naples Test Track and proving grounds,which was built in the 1980s, but it fell out of regular use in recent years. One of its last projects was the testing and press releases of the Ford GT supercar in 2002.
