Point Baker is a census-designated place (CDP) in Prince of Wales-Hyder Census Area, Alaska, United States. The population was 35 at the 2000 census.
Point Baker was discovered by Cptn George Vancouver in 1793. It has neither roads nor streets. Boats are the only way to get around. Seaplanes can land here. There is a floating bar and grill and gas and fuel oil as well as telephones are available. The community stopped logging from reaching its door step in the landmark lawsuit Zieske v Butz (1975).
