In 1982 this place was empty barren land where NNCA (Natesa Nagar Cricket Association) was actively till 1997 involved in producing world class cricket players like Suresh, Geogy,Umai, Mogu, Magesh, Sanjay, Arun, Nagaraj, Manikandan, Karthik, Rajesh. They could achieve great victories in ball match, bet match and bat match and also flood light tournaments. Finally the doom came in form of a park. No more NNCA all perusu simply ooru vanbu talking in the evening and vaai pathing.
