A former village, now Piatykhatky is neighborhood of the Kyivskyi District of Kharkiv city, Ukraine.
Population is about 10,000.

Pyatykhatki is a science town, formed around the "New Area" of Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology.
Also the Faculty of Physics and Technology of the Karazin Kharkiv National University is located here.
Close to the neighborhood there are the "Soniachnyi" ('Sunny') stadium and the "Superior" golf club.

The Memorial of the victims of the totalitarian regime and burials are located near Pyatykhatki, in memory of the thousands intellectuals of Ukraine, murdered by the Soviet Secret Police (the NKVD) in 1937-38, and also for several thousand Polish officers, murdered here by NKVD in 1940 as part of the Katyn massacre.
