PattiveeranPatti is one of the oldest Village of India, with a history dating all the way back 1500years

For a long time, Pattiveeranpatti has been associated with coffe,pepper,and cordomam of good quality . Industry for which PattiveeranPatti noted is coffee currying. The widely known Leo coffee and Joseph coffee and "Rathna Coffee & Commodities"are producing coffee in this Village and are being sent to various places in our State and outside. It is flourishing industry gives employment to vide section of people.

PattiveeranPatti which is an important wholesale market for Coconut,coffee and pepper has the network of roads connecting Thandikudi , Batlagundu and Kodaikanal.

Pathrakali Amman temple and Mariyamman Temple at Pattiveeranpatti are the important Temples which attract several thousand pilgrims.

Actually the name holder of Mr. Soundarapandia Nadar is Pattiveeranpatti. He was a poplular politician at that time. Hence the Tamilnadu Government honored him by make a statue of him at the central town of PANDI BAZAR, Chennai and eventually in the name of PANDI became the name of the city. I proud of a citizen of the PATTIVEERANPATTI.
