CKP Hall (Thane)

Community hall of the CKP Commuinty of Thane (Presently owned by the CKP Trust).
Originally the property belonged to two Kharkar family. One of them was a well known Judge (Name not known at present) of the Thane District Court and the other Shri Balkrishna Kharkar (Popularly known as "Tatyasaheb Kharkar" or "Dnyatimanya Kharkar"). After his death his son Shri Madhukar B.Kharkar donated his portion of the property to the CKP Trust for beneficial use of the CKP community.
The Hall is named "Sir.Govindrao Pradhan Community Hall" as he had donated huge sum of money for the erection of the Hall Building.
This Hall building also house the offices of the CKP Social Club and CKP Womens wing.

The building was renovated in about 2010. Cost of renovation was partially born by devotees of "Shree Gajanan Maharaj Pattekar", the famous godman (saint) of CKP community. Now this hall is named after the saint as per request of devotees.
