This privately owned house, is the former carriage house to Edith Wharton's home next door. The cottage was purchased by Oatsie Charles, who revamped the house and added the gardens.The landscaping and gardens are some of the most beautifully realized and charming in all of Newport. Mrs Charles still lives there today.
