The school is onthe National High way 214A. This school in Epurupalem village is also known as Boys High school as there is one more school for girls in the village. During sixties this school was not existing so, the children from the village has to go to schools in Perala 2kms towards south or to Stuvarpuram, 1km towards north. In the seventies the then President of village gram panchayat shri Ande Rama Rao has struggled and has completed the school partly with his own money.
This school is exclusively for Boys. and there is one more ZP Girls Highschool in the village and that one is exclusively for girls.
