This is a place on the bank of River Ravi on which a water reservoir (Ranjit Sagar Dam as popularly known Thein Dam is constructed on river Ravi. The temple of lord Shiva namely "Muketeshwar" finds mentioned in Shiv Purana)The temple is a ancient worship place from the time of Mahabharata,Pandav's had spent shot time here and stayed in the caves during their "Agyat Vaas". The caves they made to stay still exists here.There is a temple of Lord Shiva on the bank of the river and every year in the first week of April, a holy fare is held in village DOONGH. Pandav's have spent a short span of time during there Agayat Vaas at this place on the bank of river ravi. They have built small caves in the mountains to shelter themselves. There are two LINGAMS in the worship places of Lord Shiva inside the caves built by the Pandavas . It's a place worth visiting being on river bank it have a exotic view. Do visit this place for adventure in small valleys and deep-gorges with some lovely water falls. Visit to this place makes it a thrilling and unforgettable experience,enjoy swimming on river banks, its a place to find harmony with nature.
