  • Sungai Siput a calm town once a common scene to see multi-races mixing like one family with respect and kindness. We should bring the glory back; to show we are peace loving, caring, helpful people; living in harmony. The merdeka football tournaments, the various festive celebrations and etc. most obviously the deeds of Datuk Seri S. Samy Veloo must be commended - he delivered in spite of serving under the tough premier who now we know had denied our rights.... Past is gone lets unite for a better future for our children's. Cause we still can and that's what we need to. Simply love Sungai Siput - it will remain as a monument like the "lion hill" right North. Still remember my first teacher Mrs. Lee of Methodist Primary School - 1967. SEK TOK MUDA ABDUL AZIZ - 1972.
