Alcatraz Cellhouse

This is the main cell house for inmates that were housed in Alcatraz prison.

The eastern portion of the foundation was built upon the brick citadel that dated from when Alcatraz was a fortress during the Civil War.
Some of the original foundation was used to construct the prison's most notorious solitary conficement cells.
