The place is located besides a small river and is characterised by a prominent bridge, a church and Nedumattom Upper Primary School. (My Alma-matter). We have a small cooerative bank some shops, a convent in the vicinity. The best part of the village is the cordial and respecting attitude by one and all irrespective of cast, creed or community.
