The Daniel Boone Area High School serves a population of approximately 14,000 people and covers an area of 42 square miles. The school district is predominately rural/suburban with concentrations of population in Amity Township, Borough of Birdsboro and Union Township.

In the high school, laboratories are available for all science courses and facilities are provided for the arts and music, business education, technology education, career-related/guidance services, foreign language and consumer and family science. Computer labs in the building ensure uses and applications of computers and software including word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and telecommunications as well as supplementing curriculum offerings.
