A residence area. This was one of Malmös projects to build apartments in an area where schools, daycare centers and playgrounds in an area.
This areas project started already in the late 40's and was completed in the middle of the 50's.
This was one of the first areas that started with Malmös big projects and also became a model for similar areas.
Today Augustenborg is known as the "Eco Town" because of the project to make this town as nature friendly as it can be.
This of course is an experiment that some people hope will spread.
