  At an elevation of 5258 feet round Mt. lookout affords a good view from Mt. Shasta to the Warner Mountains and from Medicine Lake highlands to south of Adin. The station is six miles from Long Bell Station and is an easy and interesting drive from CR 91. Drive slow and enjoy the forest and lava flows along the way. Say Hi to Ron (the lookout) and don't forget to sign the log book. Tell him Firebird sent you.
