Taagepera Church was built in 1674 under the leadership of the manor house owner von Stackelberg. The church was built of stone, the building had a wooden tower. The church can accommodate over 200 people. The altar was an imitation of the Baroque style, the pulpit is a fairly simple carpentry work. Instead of an altar cloth, there was a book with Hebrew text. The organ was built in 1863. Until 1928, Taagepera Church was an auxiliary church of the Helme congregation. To this day, a pastor serves in the Helme congregation. Taagepera Church is a great place to listen to music and songs.
