Lainici comprising mainly touristic Hotel Lainici (pictured) and Lainici restaurant with summer garden, is located in the center Canyon National Park Jiu. Jiu Valley, about 29 km from Targu Jiu, Lainici pass at 13 Km (about 8 miles) Bumbesti-Jiu city, administrative center and 14 km (about 9 miles) Livezeni city, Hunedoara county. Park Hotel Lainici is located around and to the south of the hotel, right Jiu, the one side of Route 66 or the European road E79. Jiu Gorge is one of the most spectacular gorges and wildlife in the Carpathians, with a length of 30 km. Jiu River Park and the massive divide north and south Şureanu massive and Vâlcan Parang, the Jiu Valley is the southern gateway to Retezat National Park. Jiu Gorge National Park is the newest national park, covering an area of 11,000 hectares, where one can always find new species of flora and fauna. You can visit the caves, you can go hiking trails and explore virgin. Jiu Valley has an excellent potential to practice the most attractive rafting rafting route in Romania.
