PNS Ghazi was sunk here in December 3, 1971,

PNS Ghazi (SS 479) was a United States-built submarine that was leased by Pakistan in 1963. It operated in the 1965 and 1971 wars between India and Pakistan and was Pakistan's first submarine and remained the flagship submarine for Pakistan Navy until it sank in 1971. It sank off the fairway buoy of Visakhapatnam near eastern coast of India during the 1971 war.

  • I think The submarinal crew would not be so stupid, it would have been destroyed by Indian Navy during the war.

  • I think entering an enemy teritory alone and doing such a huge task is a hell of great job done by ghazi crew. Their luck was not good but this single ship really terrified the whole indian navy in 1965 as well as in 1971.
  • PNS hangoor destoryed 2 indian warships in 1971 near bombay.
  • This submarine was sunk due to internal blast. Indian navy came to know about it after 3 days when fishermen reported huge oil on surface. No credit goes to indian navy. It was submarine's bad luck.
