  • I have lived in Oakland for 14 years and on the east side of Pittsburgh for over 30 years and have never heard this area referred to as Oakcliffe.
  • "Oakcliffe" is a fantasy dreamed up by a tiny group of bored residents. It doesn't merit inclusion on the map, IMO.
  • Actually, the Oakcliffe Housing Club is a group of very busy and active residents who are working to make our neighborhood a great place to live and work.
  • I had never heard the term either until I moved to the Oakcliffe part of Oakland and seeing as how it really is it's own little neighborhood and no one even seems to know it's here, I think it has earned it's right to be called Oakcliffe instead of Oakland. Besides, we already have a sign for the "Oakcliffe Corner Store"
  • Oakcliffe is a community in South Oakland. The Community includes a nice Greenway that boasts a community garden, overlook & developing community orchard and trail system.
