  Just East of the West Virginia / Virginia border. That border is also the eastern Continental Divide. Yet, as this point is the high point on this C&O line, now the CSX line Virginia rain falling on the track west of this point will flow west, through the Tunnel, and into West Virginia. Then and via the Greenbriar, New, Ohio, and Mississippi Rivers it will reach the Gulf of Mexico.
