Church of St. Vincent (Eus)

France / Languedoc-Roussillon / Eus
church, listed building / architectural heritage, Roman Catholic church

The village church, dedicated to Saint Vincent, visible from afar. It is called the upper church as opposed to the lower church, which is the one that lies close to the 'Tet'.

The church was constructed between 1726 and 1743. It has a single nave and side chapels, a porch-tower and ends with an apse right. The furnishings are interesting: the altarpiece of the high altar is Paul Sunyer, the altar of the Rosary, Dated 1690. It also contains a statue of Christ and 5 Saints of the eighteenth century.
