Formerly Sacred Heart Catholic Grade School, it was sold to the muslim community in the early 2000's and was a private muslim school (Al-Mahdi Private School), though it has gone up for sale again after closing and suffering a minor fire that damaged a couple rooms. It is currently vacant/unoccupied.

The current structure dates to 1962, though a school has been here on this site in some form since at least 1913.
