  • One of the Silk city is Kanchee puram, And another is Arani. Arani Silks are manufacturing from Kilpattu village. In my village peoples up to 90% whos are involve in manufacturing silks. Historical Name Of Killpattu. Kilpattu=Kizpattu. Kiz Means Under. Pattu Means Silks. Peoples are press the peddel of silk manufacturing machine in under(Kiz) ground, & makking the Silks (Pattu). In two main objects became a My village name Kizpattu.
  • I am Charles resident of Madimangalam from 1971 to 1991 and I used to go to kilpattu to buy milk. Really a wonderful village. I never forget the pillyar koil and panchayet radio room and the adjacent Primary school. My class mate Mr.Balaji owner of a rice mill and some other friends are also there.

  • Hi,(Vanakkam), I am Harikrishnan (Senthil) S/o N.Jayavel. I am very Happy and Very proud to be a person from Kilpattu. I done primary in my village and went to vadamadimangalam for secondary. Now I am Living in Melbourne (Australia).Special about my village is Silk sarees weaving and Manufacturing.Also peoples do farming as well. Another special things is My village has got more than 5 lakes. Some times I can say my village is an Island. Becoz it is surrounded by all the lakes.I dont think none of the place has got like this near by my village. Thats the special. But now lot of things changing. Then About Weaving, We can smell the silk and Jary when u enter the village. I am very proud to say, Each and every one in the village are very hard working peoples. Also I proudly say that All the peoples are Engineers What they doing in weaving. They have more knowledge to make a good design in the sarees and for new designs too.Also they keep on thinking for new design and the easiest way to make. Thats the reason I call them Engineers. If you cannt invent a new design you cannot survive in the bussiness. About temples: We have 5 big temples.1. Pilliyar temple, 2. Sivan Temple, 3. Gangaiamman temple, 4.Mariamman Temple and 5 Perumal temple. All the temples are powerful and also peoples are celebrating festivals every year in every temples. Being I am Living in Australia, I always Thinking about my village. It feels good and Proud. I can say still more about my place,But now it is enough. Thank you

  • hi everybody first up all i would say thanks to all,Because of you are visiting my own place(just i called paradise). There was many people became a good position by hard work.It is not a easy to reach at the position. Many trouble in there those life behind. first i can tell about my village where it is locate. This village has locate in near arni around approximately 14 km from east site. Then polur is locate at near 12 km. This village occupation is mainly silk weaving and then also many people could doing farm.Many lakse are locate surrounding the village. It is main resource of farm lands. Such as these people have weaving silk sarees and export big cities like chennai, Benglore and then send to other places with in india. In this village have primary school, Early i was studied at this school. I would not never forgettable teacher name is given here ponnusamy,anitha,Krishnamoorthy,gunasekar and kumar. This village school has up to 5 standard.after complete the primary school will join near village higher secondary school at vadamathimangalam. many students are promote engineer's and placed other cities. Kilpattu student are very brilliant in studies for good example those come 1st rank in higher education. Mr.G.Kannan is a first MBBS in school and village.. some studenst are goes to studying at MIT,chennai. my friends are well player in a cricket.there was have many intelligents in variety games like as cricket,kabaadi,long jump,running then vali ball but not get good opportunities to play this games in division level. the players participate in other tournaments and won the match against other villages. my team name is a KILPATTU SUPER KINGS it is called as KSK. My team members totally 15 people.i played both bowl and batting well in field during bad situation.
