Raasiku station is located 29 km from Tallinn. The train journey from Tallinn’s Balti Jaam Station takes approximately 28 minutes. All Elron commuter trains on the eastern route Tallinn–Aegviidu stop at the station. Depending on the day of the week, there are 26–22 passenger trains. The Raasiku station building was built in 1870 according to a standard design similar to the Keila, Paldiski, Aegviidu, Kabala, Toila and other station buildings. The station buildings are characterized by a low gable roof and an asymmetrical longitudinal façade with a higher gable central part dividing the building into one- and two-story wings. The historical building was demolished in May 1998. However, several auxiliary buildings and a water tower have been preserved.
