The estate, first mentioned in 1485, later belonged to the noble families of von Tiesenhausen and Stael von Holstein. The Early-Classical main building with a hip roof was constructed in the 1770s, with the former main building with an Old Baltic layout dating back to the beginning of the 18th century (or the end of the 17th century?) having also been preserved. The manor house is in private possession.
By the historical distribution the manor was in Kuusalu Parish in Harjumaa County. By the present administrative distribution it belongs to the Kuusalu Municipality in Harjumaa County.
