The traditional migrant neighborhood in Georgetown for Guatemalans first arriving in the area. Once the thriving home of blue-collar workers, Kimmeytown has long been in decline due to lack of repair by landlords. Efforts are being taken to improve the housing while still catering to the large immigrant population.
