  • Well, it wasn’t the largest drive-in but, plenty big nonetheless. Located at 1633 Ximeno Long Beach, CA 90804, the 15 acre property was purchased for $300,000 by the Eagle Theater Corp. Despite the rain on April 4, 1951, opening night was a huge success. There were parking spaces for 1000 cars. Later managed by Pacific Theaters, the Circle Theater closed on January 31, 1985. ~phiz
