Inmarsat's transfer orbit support facilities include three full-motion C-band dual polarisation antennas and associated transmit and recive and baseband equipment at three earth stations (Fucino, Beijing and Lake Cowichan).
In addition, to support the on-station operations of its current fleet of ten satellites, (three Inmarsat-2s and five Inmarsat-3s and two Inmarsat-4s), Inmarsat's global TT&C (Telemetry Tracking & Controle) network has nine dedicated limited-motion antennas (seven at the above three locations and two at a fourth site, Pennant Point in Nova Scotia, Canada).
There are two back-up TT&C sites, Eik Norway with one antenna, and Auckland in New Zealand with three antennas.
