church, Episcopal Church, historic landmark, historical building

Consisting of three separate buildings, Trinity Church began as a Christ Chapel first built in 1869 in a Gothic Revival design by Gilman and Arthur. The main church building was designed by Porter and Cyrus and built between 1884-1886 in a Victorian Gothic style, featuring stained glass windows designed by John LaFarge and Tiffany studios. Further expanded with the addition of a Parish House designed by Cram, Goodhue & Ferguson in 1905, the church reached its final layout and continues to function as a house of worship.

The three buildings were grouped together as one entity when the Trinity Episcopal Church was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.
