  • no joke, this cemetary is friggin' old. Oldest headstones I've seen go back pry about 150 years. This cemetary has existed since there was pry literally nothing around it, and before Riverside was even a city. Love walking around this neighborhood at night with friends. Creepy yet peaceful and historic.
  • There is a military section of this cemetery where veterans of the Civil War and the Spanish-American War are buried.
  • John W. North, the founder of Riverside, and one of the men who nominated Abraham Lincoln for the presidency on the Republican ticket in 1860 is buried here.
