Poovar, a beautiful beach side town, is situated 32 km south of Thiruvananthapuram, in Kerala. Enveloped by the most serene backwaters of Neyyar and the roaring Arabian Sea, this ancient port town epitomizes the inimitable charm of nature at its best.
Poovar provides an ideal getaway from the maddening crowds, the tranquility of air being punctuated only by the chirp of birds and the sound of crashing waves.
