Anjimedu is the centre for Tirupathi and Kalahasthi,and it is near to the Renigunta AirPort.Anjimedu village is famous for Cultivation of Paddy,Sugarcane,Groundnut, Turmeric,Chilli,Sadha,Jonna.The population of Anjimedu is nearly more than 1500.It is the Major Panchayath in ErpeduMandalam.This village consists of Reddys,Brahmins,Komati, Balajas, Kamma, Golla, Mutrasi, Kamasala, Achari, Dhobi, Jangam, Mangali, Yanadi, Yerukula Mala,Madiga
Temples
There are four Temples in these village.three ramalayams and one SivaTemple.Among that Temples two are very powerfull one is Ramalaya Temple in PeddhaAnjimedu and SivaTemple in ChinnaAnjimedu.
The highest population is Reddys in that village.
The Biggest family in that village is Kandati family,Why I am saying is about this family is because five brothers of this family were very unity as one family for nearly eighty years.The population of that family was nearly ninety.The names of Five Brothers are GuruVaReddy,NallaReddy,PedhaSubbhaReddy,ChinaSubhaReddy,VenkatReddy.They are the LandLords Of that Village.Kandati GuruvaReddy is the God Father for That Village.They are given legendary status.Reign of the family continues from long days and now also.grands son reign is continuing now.Wish it continues for ever.
