Official residence of Dr.D.Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala.

Built in the Fifties by Late Sri.Rathnavarma Heggade, this place has seen metamorphosis over the years.

Many years ago, probably up to mid Seventies, children played and indulged themselves here in cricket, Jiblee, Lagori, Kutti Donne, Mara Manga, Kannu Muchhale, London London, Bachhe, Goli and all such silly games!

Children from all communities used to flock this place and amuse themselves with games that suited their physic, skill or just to laze around!

Here, two pups called Tommy and Moti have seen life!

The main residence has been renovated thrice, and the neighbouring house which was rented for sixteen years to a household, was later leased out to two Banks, and a portion of that house has been converted to wards to fecilitate patients of S.D.M.Eye Hospital, which is annexe to this house.

Dr.D.Veerendra Heggade a scholar, a visionary and a great humanitarian, has never looked back when it comes to progressive development, and his subordinates followed his orders to ensure that the sanctity of this masterpiece of Ballal Bagh remains forever, never exploited by external forces!
